Measure Force from Displacement

I am very new to HyperMesh and FEA, I went through a training where we did pretty much everything in the Optistruct profile, so I'm not familiar with the other options.  I'm trying to run an analysis where the displacement is enforced in the constraints, and then measure the force applied.  The solver only seems to show data on the displacement, as well as element stresses. Is there a way to measure force?

Hi,

 

i think you want to know the resulting forces at the constraints (SPCFORCE).

You have to request this forces in the I/O Options (e.g. Radioss/Nastran bulk, LoadStepBrowser->Global Options->Output Requests->SPCFORCES)
