Hi all!

I performed a random response in Nastran. I would like to plot the apparent frequency for each element of my model. Is Hyperview capable of this?

Besides, I was not able to load random analysis results with multiple subcase in the nastran input file. Is this a limitation of Hyperview?

    Hi,

Do you see any error message or warning when you load the result file?

Regarding frequencies for each element, please check with Nastran support whether frequencies are written in result file or not.

Of couse I do not receive any error. I have to run several .dat  launch file instead of a single one because I cannot use subcases. This is really annoying.

The apparent frequency N0 is output in the .f06 file, I can read. I hope it is output also in the .op2 file. Anyway, does anyone know a trick to get the apparent frequency N0 in Hyperview?

It's a really nice quantity because it give you an idea about how many fatigue cycle the element will experience.
