Restraining axial rotation of a solid fastener

I'm trying to constrain the axial rotation of a solid rivet for a non linear analysis. I tried  using RBE2 and RBE3 as shown in the attached image, but the solver basically ignores the constraint (image2).  I want to constrain the rivet's rotation in order to avoid having to use frictional contacts.

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi rodrigomierh

First, Solid elements have no rotation Dofs unlike 2D elements.

The message you see is an information and it will not affect the results because these will be autosp'ed later (this will be available in your out file).

When the dependent dofs do not have any stiffness, spc or loading, OS removes the constraints then later AUTOSPCs' such dofs.

Please set PARAM, AUTOSPC to NO. This tells the solver to not to remove any rotational dependent DoFs and later autospc the same.
