Export solver deck to WORKBENCH

Hello,

could you please tell me how can i export finite element mesh to Ansys WORKBENCH. Which format should I use?

Hi Zdeny,

 

Goto File > Eport > solver deck > in the file selection, change file type to Ansys and Template also to Ansys and click Export.

@Premanand Suryavanshi: Can you make out the difference between Ansys format supported by Hypermesh & Ansys Workbench?

The format supported by Hypermesh is Ansys Mechanical. Yes, we can import this such format into Ansys Workbench, but that're two different formats.

but this type of format *.cbd cannot be opened in Workbench.

Yes Q.Nguyen-Dai is right. These are two different formats. It may not open in work bench.

Yeah, that's a pitty, it cannot be opened in Ansys Workbench.

You can use External model to import .cdb file in WB.
