I carry the simulation of a model, obtain the result in a HV as stress and displacement plot. I want to

know the exact load at which model starts buckling. How to find load?(Already used SPCForce in a

NLGEOM but unable to find exact load)

    Hi Tushar,

It may not be possible to get SPCF with NLGEOM.

Instead you can run NLSTAT analysis.

When you run the NLGEOM load case in bulk it actually translates the model to our block format and runs in our block solver. Currently there is no way to request spc forces for NLGEOM using the bulk format.  You can
however edit the _0000.rad file that is created when you run your model  and add the necessary lines to request the nodal reaction forces to be  saved to the time history file *T01.

What you need to add looks like this,

    /TH/NODE/1

    spc

    REACZ

          1119         0

Please refer to Help document for more information on TH/node command.

    Hello tusharpatil123

If you just want to find the load at which your model buckling (critical load, buckling load), you need only to perform Linear Buckling analysis instead of NL

Please follow procedures as in Help>Optistruct>Tutorial > basic small displacement > buckling
