.stl file to full hex mesh

Hello all,

I'm looking for a way to mesh my design domain for topology optimization purposes. Therefore I need the domain (see .stl file) to be meshed in hex elements only, and preferably fine near the edges and more coarse towards the middle.

I've figured out shrinkwrap works decent, but this doesn't allow me to change any mesh parameters near the edges.

Any tips in what direction I should look?

Cheers.

Jeroen

Build the geometry from your STL and work on geometry. I think that the best method for your case.

(I don't know if you can do full hexa meshing or not)
