How to get identical meshes on two surfaces

Hello,

 

the question was, how to get identical meshes on two surfaces, that lie on top of each other.

Answer:

One way would be the mesh imprint function (2D --> Mesh Edit), which will print a mesh from one surface to the other.

If this function is not working, you might use the Map to Geometry function within the HyperMorph functionality. This works even for two surfaces which are not identical but only similar in shape. See the screencast video here and follow the steps to reproduce on your model:

    Hello,

     

    but imprint and map to geometry are no meshing operations. So, if i have to remesh my model (changes) i have to do all the operations again... no workflow.

     

    The function is still missing.
