Non Linear CBUSH Element

Hello,

for my master thesis I have to work with non-linear CBUSH Elements. I have created a TABLED1 with the forces/deflection. In the PBUSH Property I selected the KN_Line assigned the TABLED1 to the dofs. For the non-linear simulation, I have created a NLPARM card with default settings. At the end, I have created a non-linear quasi-static Loadstep.  But when I try to run the simulation, I get the followin error message:

   'PBUSH          2'

  *** ERROR # 1000 *** in the input data:
  Incorrect data in field # 3.

Could you tell me, where my mistake is?

With regards,

Metin

    Hi @Meting92

    Can you share entire .out file, please?

    Looks like you didn't activate K_LINE on PBUSH.

    thanks for your quick reply. I didn´t activate the K_Line. Which sitfness factors does Hypermesh use, if I activate the K_Line. The factors I enter in the K_Line  or the table I enter in the KN_Line?

    Hi @Meting92

    If KN is blank, K_Line factors will be carried over to KN

    I have activated the K_Line now and used the default settings for the K_Line (all K-factors have a value of 0). My KN_Line is not blank. Does Hypermesh now use the KN_Line factors?

    @Meting92

    That will work, but if you have not defined any table for all Dofs then this will be a problem.

    Here is a example image. KN in X is defined using table and rest of the Dof were given some stiffness.

    Thanks for the screenshot. Now I understood the system. I have one last question: I have defined a table (Moment vs. angle in radians) for each rotational DOF.  Is that right, or do I have to define a Force vs. deflection Table for these DOFs, too?

    @Meting92

    It completely depends on your requirement.
