Can you let me know what is the 'face vertex angle' in Hypermesh Element check analysis?

    Hi,

    what panel did you perform 'Hypermesh element check analysis'?

    'face vertex angle' - perhaps you are doing on a tetra model?

    Hey Duyet, what's up

     

    I mean sometimes i see warning message 'face vertex angle' when running tetra model. so I guess you are running a tetra model,too...

     

    anyway, 'face vertex angle' is just 'vertex angle' measured on a certain face of tetra element

    so do not care about 'face'. exactly it is angle value that you check by F10 panel

     

    another kind of element angle is dihedral angle, it's 'face-face angle'

    If you are using optistruct, it's replaced by 'edge angle', mean 90D-dihedral angle

    Activate card ELEMQUAL>TETRA>EDGE (edge angle)

     

    abaqus angle is dihedral angle. But hypermesh does not have panel to check this. So we made a template to do
