Adding new element in Hypremesh element library

I am using Abaqus 2017 version to post-process my results where I would prefer to use C3D8S as hexahedral element type and this element is not available in Hypermesh14.0. So whenever I need to debug my input file created in HM, it is required to change the element type to C3D8/C3D8I before importing. So is there any way by which C3D8S/C3D8Hs elements can be added in Hypermesh 14 element library? Is there any script needed to add this element type in the library?

    No way with version 14.

    Why not update to newer version, like 2017.2 ?

    I had exactly the same question... How is it possible to add new element types for NASTRAN profile.

    Do you mean you can do this with a new version? Can you please show? If it can be done I want to include it to a proposal I am writing.  

    In addition: Is there a script (or other method) to create new property cards and thus assign newly created element types to a specific property that is currently not included?

    I think yes. Element types are defined by solver template and we can add new ones to template file.

    Just element configs are hypermesh specific.
