[HELP] Composite Sandwich Modellation

Hi,
I'm a beginner with HM and I'm working on a composite model aircraft wing. The wing skin is a carbon fiber composite sandwich with airex core (~1 mm thickness). I model the wing skin composite sandwich as a 2D surface directly with Laminates. The spare is a composite sandwich too and I meshed the core like a solid and its faces like a 2D surface. Is it correct? 
I run the analysis with this configuration but there aren't connections between spar and skin.

Hi Cristian,

 

I think the core and laminate are not connected.

 

First you need to realize how your model needs to be assembled. You can use rigids to connect shell and solid or you can use TIE/FREEZE contacts.
