Can I Have Properties Automatically Applied?

After creating a mesh I have to apply either a pshell, psolid or prod to all of the components. As of now we manually create and assign all properties. I would like to have a script to automatically apply these properties.

I cant find a way for HM to identify the component type and apply the correct property.

Is this possible? Can anyone help me?

    Of course, it's possible :)/emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' /> But should learn TCL firstly :)/emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' />

    I am getting familiar with TCL. I have tried multiple ideas/commands and none of them I can get to identify the element type. Once I get that under control the application of the properties I believe I have under control.

    The principle is rather simple: do as manual whatever you want to define propeties et assign to your components.

    Have a look at the file 'command.tcl' ==> Play with TCL script   :)/emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' />

    in nastran or optistruct profile, create 1 pshell, 1 psolid, 1 pbeam. assign them to all comps.

    then open tab Utility> click Auto property
