Customized design variable

Hello,

 

Is there a way i can create a customized design variable? I want relative density as design variable. and in that case, Young's Modulus(E) and density (Rho) will change accordingly with customized relationship function between relative density and E/Rho

    i think so, you can put 'rho' and 'E' instead 'T'.

    did i correct understand you @Alan?

    Yeah i understand that i can change it to 'E' and 'rho'. @Mrt

     

    but what i meat was to have E and rho with a relationship in between. assume E = 0.5 * rho. each value of rho corresponds to only one E value.

    For material property HS-4200 is more relevant tutorial. For Linking Input variable you can refer HS-1060.So link variable will work in your case.PFA sample image for your requirement.
