Simulation of a transformer in magnetostatic
Hello,
I am new in feko and I would like to simulate a transformer in toroidal form on which is wound two coils (primary and secondary) in order to determine the magnetic field throughout the space. I would like to do it in magnetostatics. But I have modeled the toroidal geometry which has dimensions of the order of the centimeter. I put a very low frequency (1Hz) as I work in magnetostatic. But I have conditioning problems when solving. When I put higher frequencies, the mesh becomes gigantic and takes a lot of time?
I would like to know if it is possible to make such simulations with feko?
Thanks for help.

FEKO is not designed to go down to almost DC. For magnetostatics, we recommend Altair's tool Flux.
Have a look at this web page:
