hello,
i have a problem with meshing a solid.
first i have one solid which i have extruded to have two solid linked together (the surf between the two is yelow)  before launching 2D mesh my geometrie have no free edges.

after 2d meshing i see that a free edge was created in the intersection of the two surfaces of the solids. i tried to use the tool equivalence but it's not working.

with the free edge created i cannot proceed to do a tetra mesh.

if anyone have a solution i'll be grateful

and thank you for your help,

    Hi rabi

Try adjusting the tolerance in the equivalence panel. Please note that adjusting tolerance should not affect the remaining mesh at any points

Or try 2D> replace and replace the nodes manually to give connectivity

thank for your reply but it did not work for me this method because it can't find any equivalence, but if found a solution instead of doing a 2d automesh and a 3d tetra after that i have used multi solid mapp mesh i thing the probleme i causes by having more than one solid to mesh so passing by solid map solves the probleme even if it takes some time becaus the geometry needs to be trimed
    thank you once again!
