Replace updated CAD
Hi Experts,
I have an assembly which I meshed using tria Shell elements in Mesh Control panel(Mesh>>MeshControls). I have set some criteria for fillets/holes/ribs/faces before I start the meshing. After one iteration of run, depending on the results I make changes in the CAD. Now every time I have an updated CAD for next iteration, I have to create the mesh criteria before meshing. Then I mesh the new updated CAD, then replace it in my model using 'replace' option. Is there any way I can replace the CAD and it takes care that it meshes the replaced CAD using my meshing parameters set from Mesh Controls panel?

Hi Bhargava,
How big the changes are?
If the changes are minor, you can import the CAD and position/Project the mesh elements on CAD and make changes to the mesh according to CAD.
If the change is huge, the better you mesh the CAD again as it may eat your time projecting and repairing the mesh.

The changes are like adding or removing new ribs.

Bhargava,
Can you try positioning the mesh to the new CAD and check if that works for you?
Meanwhile I will check if there is a better way to do this.
