It might be that some guy named Taylor welded sheets, but they are more commonly known as tailor welded blanks /emoticons/default_biggrin.png' srcset='/emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x' title=':D' width='20' />

In user process u have to mention blank as Tailor Welded, shown in image below. After that u can define blanks with different thickness.
