antenna design using SIW technology

Is it possible to design antenna using substrate integrated waveguide(SIW) technology  and also design of wilkinson power divider(WPD) using FEKO.

    Hello Priya,

    Yes, it is possible, although I have not designed one myself (or seen an example model). I see no reason why FEKO would not be able to model SIW technology. Once you have created an example, it would be interesting to compare the MoM and FEM solutions (FDTD would also be a good comparison, but we have not yet added the waveguide port for the FDTD solution method).

     

    Maybe one of the other community members have a model that they are prepared to share? If you reproduce a model from a paper, it would be great if you could add the paper (and the model) to the issue for future questions regarding this topic.
