HMerror property selected is not a valid *SECTION card

Hi there!

I am new with HyperMesh and LS-Dyna, so sorry beforehand for my question being so basic. I created a component (just a tube, by using the surface tool), assigned a PART card to it and when wanting to 'edit card', I got this message beneath the card image window. What may this be due to?

    it's due to no property assigned to the component yet
