Homogenization of Laminate with Honeycomb Core

Hello everybody!

 

I´m trying to modeling a monocoque of a racing car. For simplification I´m using HyperLaminat to receive the homogenized material data. For example, this works for an symmetric layer composition of CFK (with MAT8) very well.

The Problem is the core, it is made of alumnium honeycomb. Is there a solution for including the honeycomb in the HyperLaminate calculation? (maybe with MAT8)

    Did you refer this tutorial where orthotropic material properties created using Hyperlaminate.See attached screenshot.
