Edge to edge connection

Hello all,

 I am trying to connect two plates edge to edge by sharing nodes. I am using quick edit>toggele edge to share nodes, but I can't see any red or green highlighted lines in this menu.

Can anyone help me with this? I have attached my model with the message.

    You must have geometry to see topological lines.

    Red is for free edges & Green is for shared edges.I hope you want to connect frame & plate.But i dont find geometry in your shared hm file.
