Hello,

I am trying to simulate an antenna in FEKO; however, when I try to run the simulation, I get this error message:

ERROR 116: The ratio of the segment radius to length is too large

What does this error mean? How can I fix it?

Thanks,

    Greetings Yolanda,

This error comes up when the radius of the wire is large compared to its length, so the thin wire approximation is not satisfied. To fix this I recommend decreasing your wire's radius to less than a third of the length of wire. For example, if your wire length is lambda/10 then your wire radius should be less than lambda/30.

    I hope this helps!

    Respectfully,
    Evan
