What is the meaning some of the results such as mass and node mass or density ?

And what other things we should check in explicit analysis apart from what we need such as displacement and stress.

    Hi,

    /ANIM/MASS  generates animation file for nodal masses. It is helpful to see if the mass added is in a location that would affect the solution while using /DT/NODA/CST.

    /ANIM/NODA/DENS and /ANIM/NODA/DMAS creates animation file for density and mass variation.  These options are also available for 3D ALE and FVM airbag problems. The material density, pressure, and temperature is extrapolated to the element nodes, in this case. For FVM airbags the values are extrapolated only to nodes of external and internal airbag surfaces.


    As stated above,results are extracted based on the applications. In general, for explicit cases you can check for displacement, plastic strain, stress.
