Orientation of a mesh

Hello users,

 

I am trying to orientate the mesh as is shown in the following picture. Which way I should follow to create an oriented mesh?

    Use 2d>ruled mesh, switch option to 'mesh w/o surf'

    Hello Aaron,

     

    You can even use the basic option Auto-mesh in 2 D panel, with the desired the element size. Also, make sure that, in the sub panel of Auto-mesh ,select the options as shown in the attached image.

     

    But, do learn the reason for choosing those particular options.

    Please make sure that you click on set all for element type & mesh method before mesh.
