Symmetric model reduction

I'm currently looking for a method to delete all features (elements, loads, rigid bodies, connectors, etc...) located on the positive/negative side of a plane in Hypermesh, so as to reduce a whole model into a half model with a symmetry condition.

Till now, i'm used to create a plane and delete manually the features with a box selection. Maybe is there an easier and safer way to do it?

Hi,

if you start a new model, then it is a idea to create seperate collectors for left and right side. Or you reorganize your current model.

Then it is possible to deactivate all unneeded collectors in 'Entity State Browser' (Active & Export). Export your model with 'custom' export option !!

But, of course, it is a little bit more work...

Thank you Mario. Unfortunately, the initial model is done by someone else. I thus have to start with the whole mesh.
