Beginning with Topology Optimization without a (CAD) geometry input
Hallo everyone,
I'm new to HyperWorks Altair and have had some courses to understand how HyperWorks works.
Now I want to do a Topology Optimization without a (CAD) geometry input. But this wasn't discussed in the eLearning courses.
I want to define a volume in which I can put my constraints and loads to start an optimization.
Can someone tell me where I can find any information (or how to start) about this type of model optimization, so I can start my project.

there's a perfect tool for you, if you have at least a mesh of your surrounding parts.
Design Space Management in HyperWorks:
Otherwise just use the basic Geometry tools in HyperWorks or in Inspire to build your own starting block. Theey're pretty easy to learn how to use.

I've seen this before, but in my opinion they still insert a CAD geomtery?
