Will the simulation stop if the internet is down? OptiStruct - License connected to Altair account

Hello,

 

My question detail is that I am using OptiStruct to run a heavy job in my local computer.  The license of my OptiStruct is linked to my Altair one account.  I shared with some units with my teammates.

 

As I am running that heavy job, I can see how many units cost in the online license management.

However, because my apartment internet is somehow unstable and usually may lost the internet sometime in between 12am to 6am..

So will the heavy job simulation stop if I lost the internet?

    Hello,

    There is a grace period if you loose Internet before your run stops. This is around 15-20 minutes.

    If you want to make sure the license is available even when your Internet goes down you can borrow your license for offline use as described in our documentation.
