License Activation problems

Hello, 

 

I have downloaded the Altair_lic.dat file, as well as set the Altair_license_path variable in my windows settings, and the program license still won't activate in HyperWorks. Can you please let me know what I am missing? 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sometimes, you have to restart your computer for environmental variable to take effect.

    If it does not work after that,

    I recommend you to save your license file anywhere and provide the path

    If you still cannot launch Embed, I would like to see your license log. It is in the \security folder of your Embed installation.

    Finally, does your license file have any Embed license? It looks like 'FEATURE' followed by something starting with 'Embed' like

    FEATURE EmbedCodeGenFeature
