Introduce tires in model

Hello everyone,

I've got another question for another work

I have a truck model and I would like to attach tires on it. Let's say I have the .tir file and created the .rdf file.

All I have to do is insert an 'Auto Entity' (Right click ==> Add Auto Entity) and put in my 2 files ? (See screenshot 1)

I can see in Assembly Wizard full car models with a lot of Outputs/Solvers Arrays/Solver Strings/Variables/User Subroutines etc (See screenshot 2).

It seems to be a User-defined model as I saw in the User's Guide.

What is the difference between these 2 methods ?

Thanks for the reply

(I will not be able to share my model)

    Hi @CdricCd

    When you model through assembly wizard which is a build in MDL library has predefined outputs which maybe common across analysis. This reduces effort to create outputs by users.

    This is not the case when you insert the tire.

    Thanks,

    I have a model that was not created by the Assembly Wizard so the best way to put tires in it is to use the Auto Entities and include the .tir and .rdf files right ?

    @CdricCd

    Yes, Use auto entities to build your truck model.
