S-FRAME 2022.2 Release Highlights
Code Compliance
The 2022.2 release of the S-FRAME Suite of tools includes some important design code updates related to Concrete Design, Steel Design, and S-TIMBER.
- S-CONCRETE has been updated to include support for Wall Sections according to ACI 318-19 Design Codes.
- S-CONCRETE's Multistory Designer has been updated to support the ACI 318-19 Design Code for beam, column, and wall sections.
- S-LINE has incorporated the ACI 440.11-22 for Structural Concrete Reinforced with Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) Bars.
- S-STEEL and S-PAD now include support for the Indian Steel Design Code IS 800-2007 for steel member design in either an integrated, or standalone steel design.
- S-CONCRETE and S-LINE offer improvements to longitudinal steel requirement calculations for shear and torsion, for concrete beams designed to ACI and BS Codes.
- S-TIMBER has added the ability code check steel members according to the AISC 360-16, and CSA S16-19 Steel Design Codes.

Structural Analysis
S-TIMBER has implemented a number of new Structural Analysis features to help improve the accuracy, output, and ease-of-use.
- S-TIMBER now supports Dynamic Time History Analysis. This includes both Linear, and Nonlinear Dynamic Time History Analysis, and the option to consider nodal, or joint excitation loads.

- S-TIMBER now allows users to calculate connection design forces resulting from a collection of members contributing to a user defined connection.

- S-TIMBER has been updated to allow users to define shear releases in the major and minor axes of the member.
- S-TIMBER has been updated to allow users to define partial moment releases to their members.
Installation Improvements
S-FRAME and S-VIEW offer help new capabilities for working in a remote system, and reducing user input during the installation process.
- S-FRAME no longer requires the user to specify the edition of S-FRAME (Standard, Professional or Enterprise) during installation. S-FRAME will automatically recognize the edition based on the available license.
- S-FRAME's DXF Import Utility and S-VIEW both now support usage within an RDP session.
