LM-X server not reachable on user level installation of Feko on Ubuntu Linux

I'm currently facing some problems after intalling Feko on a Ubuntu Linux. Since I don't have root access for this particular machine, I've installed the sofware at a user level. And apparently that made for some kind of issue with the license manager. I can reach the license server on the machine with a ping test, there is a no network error for the LM-X server on the license utility. So I think that some necessary LM-X related service might be missing.

Thus my question are:

Will just reinstalling the license manager app with root privilages solve that?

Or do I have to do a full Feko installation with root?

If those are not necessary, could I just configure and start teh necessary services manually?

If so, how do I go about that?
