How to fix error Subtraction?

I try to subtract 2 objects as show in picture. However 2 object disappeared. Please view attached files for more details.

  Hello,

   

  The body is not a closed solid.

  You can check this using Analysis-> Tolerance Check (see picture).

  If you correct that, it works.
