License 15 error: Unable to connect to license server
Hi, I am trying to install and run EDEM 2021.1. I went through the instructions and everything seems fine. My license .dat file is in Altair directory/security folder and environmental variable has a path to that file. I still get this error when I open EDEM 2021.1. It would be great if anyone could help. Thanks in advance!

Do you have a standalone license or a server license?
For a Standalone license, follow the steps shown here: https://community.altair.com/community?id=kb_article&sys_id=84c759d01baa30d0c4dfdbd9dc4bcbbb
For a server/network license you will have to set up a the Altair License server and point your environment variable to that location. If you have a server license, you would have gotten the instructions along with your license file.
