Hi,

My models have many RBE2 and RBE3. Sometimes I want to check if my colleague setup RBE2 or RBE3 correctly.

How to know this?

In Output dialog, it also does not mention clearly?

Edit RBE also do not contain this information?

    Hi,
the easiest way to control the RBE2/RBE3 is using ANALYSIS PROPERTY.
It doesn't matter if you created it as a RBE2 or as a RBE3: the property will decide for this.
if you don't create one, SimLab will do it automatically, based on the initial setting you chose.

    Hi Alpha,

SimLab don’t have any direct option to review the RBE type. The only way to check the RBE type is, to open the property dialog of RBE body as shown by Alessio. You can also right click on the top of the assembly browser to enable the property tab where you can find the properties created for RBE bodies.

Related Question.   Can one modify an RBE2 to RBE3, and vice versa?

    Hi Darad,

Yes. Modifying RBE2 to RBE3 and vice versa is possible. Please do the following steps.

    • Select the RBE body using the RBE body selection filter.
    • Right click and select Analysis property.
    • The current RBE type will be displayed in the Analysis property dialog.
    • Change the type from RBE2 to RBE3 from the dropdown and click ok. Rename the RBE property for clarity.

You can also change the RBE property by opening the corresponding property dialog in the Assembly browser or in the Property browser.

    Thanks and Regards,
