Hi.
At min 22:01 (next release target), for meshing, what is the "arbitrary refinement zone"? Is it same as Adaptive mesh refinement zone where mesh is become smaller or bigger dynamically at certain gradient i.e. pressure-velocity gradient?0 -
Hi Nadzrin,
Adaptive mesh refinement is in long term horizon for us. Arbitrary refinement zone mentioned in slides will provide user capability to define arbitrary shaped virtual refinement zones based on geometry references.
It will be useful in multiple scenarios - 1) creating body fitted refinement zones - saving mesh count. 2) Creating directional refinement starting from specific geometry 3) If have multiple variant of cad with similar setup - and if you define arbitrary refinement zones with geometry references like metadata, it can change shape automatically.
