Yield Criterion & Cyclic Hardening in Forming
Dear Expert,
I'm using InspireForm and HyperForm simulate my 'sheet metal forming process'.
I have some questions related to the material parameters in Radioss solver.
Currently, i'm using a material for stamping but i don't have its full specifications.
I have the stress-strain curve already. (taken from the tensile test).
However, in InspireForm, it requires us to define the yield criterion and cyclic hardening.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
So my questions are:
1. Is it necessary to input the yield criterion and cyclic hardening?
2. How can i calculate those specs?
3. If i don't have those specs, what should i choose?
(i only have the tensile test data for 'force vs displacement'.
Thank in advance!

Convert your data to true stress x strain curve and there's an option of entering the curve (instead of using the power law).

hi Koga,
Thanks for your answer.
Maybe my question wasn't clear.
I have already had the true stress-strain curve and i can input into InspireForm.The question is how can i define the Yield Criterion (von-mises, hill, balart?) and the Cylic Hardening (isotrophic, kinematic or Yoshida)?
