Altair Inspire Studio Student Installation

I'm having issues installing the student version of Inspire Studio. I followed the instructions in the email: downloaded the license file, created the license file variable, and ran the installation. 

I've repeated this a few times, and every time I get the same error:

Unable to execute the desired program.

Please get another copy of the installer and try again. 

I even tried applying again, got a new email from Altair, and repeated the process. 

Any advice on the matter?
