Simulating an antenna with a brick wall for a test, took 24 hours to complete. How to improve this time?

Hi, im relativelly new to simulation environments with WinProp.

I created a 2D surface in cadfeko with some 400 polygons for the mesh. Applied a 20cm thick brick material in WallMan and finally simulated it in ProMan with a 4x4 meter simulation plane with 0.1m resolution.

I have simulated some other objects such as corner reflectors with the same antenna .ffe and simulation parameters, and usually takes no longer than 30 minutes. However, this brick wall took almost 1 day.

Is there anything I need to consider when working with different materials other than metal?

Software version: 2019.3

Thanks in advance

The long simulation time probably comes from the combination of the number of objects (400) in the model and the number of ray interactions. The selection of material doesn't matter.

In the ray interactions, especially diffraction and scattering can be expensive, because those interactions spawn many new rays.
