Pretensioned 1D Bolt

Hi, 

I'm modeling two fastened components in Hypermesh and I'm looking for a way to simulate pretensioned bolts.

I've seen there are bolts elements in Hypermesh but i can't understand how to apply a preload.

Appreciate your help and suggestions.
