What’s the best approach for optimizing a part with complex geometry in Inspire?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Altair Inspire for basic shape optimization, but now I’m working with a part that has some pretty complex geometry and constraints. I’m wondering what best practices others follow when setting up optimization for more intricate designs.

Do you simplify the model first, or is it better to go with full detail from the start? Also curious if there are any tips for balancing performance vs. weight without over complicating the constraints.
