Hi there. Please help me with two things in Hyperworks

1. I want to create a 2D mesh out of this 3D meshing in Hyperworks. Please tell me a step by step way of doing so.

2. There are two complex elements, grey and red elements, which are overlapping or meshing. Tell me an easy way to remove this complex meshing.

    Gitesh,

    1. In order to get 2D mesh from 3D mesh, you can use Faces option. Tools Page > Faces

you can simply  select 3D Elements & can get 2D faces, which will create new component collector with name '^faces'. You can either rename the component or can shift the respective elements to new component collector with Organize Option ( Shift + F11 ).

    2. If you have duplicate elements at the location, then you can probably go to Delete option ( F2 ) > Elements by collector ( Select the same collector which have duplicate elements )

If you still have any doubts or your query is other than this clarification, let me know :-)
