CAD File Distorts when imported to hypermesh

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

Please  help me out, whenever I import a Surface model of format SLDPRT or IGES it gets distorted. Which is the best method to solve this problem?

    Hi,

     

    please provide more information on how geometry is distorted- a picture is worth a thousand words ;)/emoticons/default_wink.png' srcset='/emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x' title=';)' width='20' />

     

    Sometimes the imported geometry is faceted and it can be adjusted with preferences>graphics>geometry refinement and choose higher level (1-5) or auto

     

    If something is lost in translation on import, there are a lot of tools for geometry cleanup. The following videos might be helpful:
