How to duplicate a material in Flux project.

In order to duplicate easily a material created in Flux, you can use the pyflux command.

The procedure to follow is described below:

  1. Right click on the material and select Display PyFlux command. The command will be displayed in the History window
  2. Copy the displayed command from the History window and paste it in the Command window
  3. Change the material name and click on Enter to execute the command

This method allows to:

  • duplicate materials in the same Flux project
  • copy a material from one Flux project into another For instance, it avoids re-defining materials with "long" spline curves.
