Stress Values of FlexBody in MBS Simulation
Hello,
in order to validate the results of a MBS simulation that I conducted, it would be very helpful to access the stress values at certain places of a flexible body that is included in the model that was used for the simulation.
Is there a way to do this? Or do I have to rely on the colour contour?
Kind regards

Hi Maximilian,
One way to export the stress and strain data from a flexbody is to use the Results >> Query >> Plots command within HyperView. Load the results H3D into a HyperView session and then use the Plots command. Here, you can pick the result type (either stress, strain, deformation, etc.) and also pick the element entity to track. If there is a specific node you are interested in, you can enter the node ID and a timeseries plot in HyperGraph will then be created. From this plot, you can navigate to File >> Export >> Curve and retrieve the results information for that node.

Hope this helps!
