How to import in Hypermesh a set created by Hyperview?

Hello,

In Hyperview I've made an advanced query to get the components over a certain value. I've saved the result of the query in a component set.

I want to export this set to Hypermesh. I've exported with the Abaqus option

But when I try to import in Hypermesh, I only get the set already defined in Hypermesh but not the new one created in Hyperview by the query.

If you have exported in HV using the Abaqus option, you will get a .inp file.

Then you need to go to HM, under Abaqs user profile, and then import your .inp file (File>>Import>>Solver deck).

It should bring your set to HM.

    Hello,

In HW, there is a tool to synchronise the sets between HV and HM sessions.

Open 2 windows in the session : 1 Hyperview window with your results and 1 window with your model loaded in HM.

Now, go to File->Load-> Preferences Files and load the Aerospace tool menu.

A new drop-down menu will be available in Hyperview window.

In this menu, go to Aerospace-> Sets -> Sync HV-HM

This tool will allow you to synchronise your HV sets with your HM model.

    Hope this help

    Regards

Many thanks for your answer. Before doing it, I have to convert my set of components into a set of elements.

Many thanks for your answer, I didn't know this synchronize tool. I have still the problem that sets of components are not directly able to export (perhaps because of Abaqus?).

What I have done is to convert my set of components to a set of elements, then I export/import in Hypermesh, and convert again to a set of components.
