Doubt regarding rear suspension in motionsolve

How to insert H-Arm suspension type for  rear suspension system in motionsolve , can i create it in motionsolve2022.3 and 2023 ?

    Hi Antony -

    you can create in any version. Either create a new system from scratch like adding an empty system, adding bodies, joints etc.. or if there are some similarities with any of the existing suspension systems, you may modify such a system.

    Tip: maintain the modularity of the system. that means any reference to entities in other systems be created via Attachments.

    Once the system is ready, export the system definition to a file. (Export tab in the system panel in v2022.3. File > Export > MDL Definition in 2023).

    This exported system can now be reused in other models by importing the system.

    If you wish to integrate this new system definition into the assembly wizard, you would have to

    1.  Save the system definition in the wizard location.
    2. Edit the wizard file model_wizard.wzd in the wizard location.

    Just follow based on other systems in there.

    Note that any modification to this file which is in the install may be lost on re-install or deletion of the install.

    If you have many such edits, I would advise to create a separate library by copying the existing wizard.
