adapting the legend in hyperview

Hi,

I'm doing a CFD analysis in hypermesh and hyperview but I can't get the results I want in certain sections.

How can I adapt the legend in hyperview to obtain the local maximun value of a section and not the global maximun of the model?

Could I get the average value for the velocity in that section, for example?

Thanks

you can change the selection from 'components' to 'elements' or 'nodes' and select only the ones in your interest area, to get the results ploted only there and also the legend adjusted.

    Hi Leire,

You can use the Matrix Browser to extract result information of all the nodes of interest than take that into excel and find the average.

    Steps:

    1) Load 'Aerospace Tools' preference file (File -> Load -> Preference File)

    2) Launch Matrix Browser (Aerospace -> Matrix Browser)

    3) Query nodes of interest from 'HvData' source

    4) Extract results of interests

    5) Bring data into excel for further post-processing

I also attached a short video to highlight the workflow. Hope this helps!
