In the first image, the purple elements are 3D. I need to select one row along the circumference. I tried elements by path. It is not working. Can someone please help me?

In the second image. the outer layer of the hemisphere is made of 3D elements. I need to select all the elements on the top face of the hemisphere. Which option is the best way to do it?
Thanks in advance for your insights and help!

    Hi Prashanth
You can try to take faces of components to generate a skin component. Delete unwanted elements and then find attached elements!
