Hi. I am studying this tutorial:

ACU-T: 6106 AcuSolve - EDEM Bidirectional Coupling with Mass Transfer

https://2022.help.altair.com/2022.2/hwdesktop/cfd/topics/tutorials/acu/acu_6106_intro_cfd_r.htm#acu_6106_intro_cfd_r

While going through Part 2 - AcuSolve Simulation, the geometry was not validated. I cannot move on the next steps without this.

I've attached the HyperMesh file ACU-T6106_tablet.hm which is given with the tutorial files.

Can anyone please help me validate the geometry?

Thank you!

From the Measure tool, the distance across the edge of the box is 0.075.  If you 'hover' over the validate icon, select the small box sub-icon that appears.  Change the Sliver Surface Threshold to something like 1.e-3 or 1.e-4, something like 1/10 to 1/100 the smallest geometry feature, then click the main Validate icon again.  That should work.

Thanks so much for your instructions! I can run the tutorial now.
