how to apply load and moments in lug?

dear sir i have a geometry of lug as shown in figure.. i want to apply force and moments along the axis of lug..so i divided the load by 2..applied it on both sides as shown in below pic..whether what i have done is right way to do it?

    Looks like you have applied load (Force & moment) along +/- X direction.You applied it on centre node of two rigids. In real life case if load is acting on both sides then it is right way to apply load.

    sir i want to apply load along the axis of lug..if i apply on the midnode on either side as i have applied above.. does it make a proper simulation i am asking u?

    @Rahul R yea i have applied load along -ve X dierction and a moment along +ve X
